How much does paint protection film cost?
It depends on the vehicle and how much you cover. We quote every vehicle individually, for free. See our cost guide.
How long does an install take?
Most installs take 1 to 2 days. A full vehicle takes longer.
Will the film turn yellow?
No. XPEL film is UV-stable and covered by XPEL's manufacturer warranty against yellowing, staining, cracking, blistering and delaminating.
When can I wash my car?
Wait at least 72 hours so the film can bond, then wash it like you normally would.
Can it be removed without hurting the paint?
Yes. On factory paint, XPEL film comes off cleanly, even years later, when a professional removes it.
Is it only worth it on expensive cars?
No. Daily drivers, work trucks and RVs benefit too. Anything you plan to keep, trade in or resell is worth more with chip-free original paint.
Is PPF better than ceramic coating?
They do different jobs. Film stops chips; coatings add gloss and make washing easier. See PPF vs. ceramic coating.
Will PPF interfere with sensors or cameras?
No. We trim around sensors and camera locations so parking sensors and driver-assist cameras keep working.
