Great Lakes Clear Bra is Mark's shop. When you call, you talk to the person who'll be laying film on your car, and reviews ask for him by name.
He's an XPEL Certified installer working out of a bay inside Aaltech Automotive Service in Kentwood, just southeast of downtown Grand Rapids. He walks every car with its owner before and after the job, says plainly what's worth covering and what isn't, and doesn't hand your keys back until every edge is right.
Mark started Great Lakes Clear Bra more than 10 years ago, and he still loves what he does: protecting paint, and taking care of the customers who trust him with their cars.
The shop

Film goes on indoors, in our bay inside Aaltech Automotive Service at 3663 Broadmoor Ave SE: bright lights, sealed floor, no dust blowing around. It's how film ends up invisible instead of full of specks.
Owners have driven in from the Traverse City area and from out of state. A 2018 Tesla owner said their Model 3 was "the least expensive car in the shop."
